5. Payment processing and licence data

Purchase and licence data

Purchases are handled by Freemius, Inc. (4023 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, DE 19807, USA) as our Merchant of Record. Freemius collects and processes your payment and billing data independently in accordance with its privacy policy. We only receive the information necessary to fulfil the licence, essentially e-mail address, licence plan and order number.

Licence server

When a JoomRevoke licence is activated or checked, your licence key and the domain of your Joomla installation are transmitted to our own licence server. This data is used exclusively to check the licence and to count the activated domains, and is not passed on to third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Transfer to third countries

Freemius, Inc. is based in the USA. Data transfer to Freemius takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards under the GDPR. For details see the privacy policy of Freemius.

6. The JoomRevoke extension on your own website

This section is not about this website but about the extension you can buy here - and it is meant for your own privacy policy.

JoomRevoke processes the details your customers enter into the withdrawal form: name, e-mail address, a contract or order reference, the name of the goods or service, and an optional message. This data is stored exclusively in the database of your own Joomla installation. It is not transmitted to us or to third parties; the extension loads no fonts, scripts or captchas from foreign servers.

The only outbound connection is the check of your licence key. Only the key and the domain name of your website are transmitted, never any data of your customers.

7. Fonts

This website uses locally installed font files for a consistent presentation of typefaces. No connection to third-party servers takes place.
